The University of Tennessee campus offers a myriad of meeting venues for general sessions, workshops, and activities. We work directly with our clients to select the best spaces to meet their event needs.

Campus Venues

The renovated auditorium in Alumni Memorial Building seats over 900 attendees. A spectacular venue for performers and audiences, the building also includes two smaller performance halls with seating for nearly 300 and 400 people. Thompson-Boling Assembly Center and Arena is a multi-purpose facility featuring seating for more than 21,000. The riverfront arena is an ideal venue for diverse events, conventions, and meetings. The new 395,088-square-foot Student Union serves as the community center of campus and features various meeting and event spaces.

Outdoor Meeting Venus

In addition to indoor spaces, campus has several great outdoor spaces for events. Pictured below is the Humanities Plaza. This area works well as a gathering space for an outdoor picnic or planned activities. We have organized quieter recreation options in this space as well as outdoor walk-through experiences. Circle Park is another outdoor green space location on campus. We have hosted outdoor picnic style lunches for up to 3,000 attendees in Circle Park. Campus also has several surface parking areas that can be reserved and used for events. We can get really creative with an empty parking lot for your event! We’ve hosted welcome parties, international festivals and provided nightly entertainment in parking areas for many groups.
